Founding Engineer, Frontend
Frontend architecture and component systems.
- Take ownership of designing and evolving our frontend architecture and component systems, setting the technical direction for the user interface.
- Build and deliver high-performance, visually stunning UIs, working closely with product, UX, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, observable, and delightful user experiences.
- Explore and prototype cutting-edge browser-based LLM inference using WebGPU and emerging web technologies, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the browser.
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmap discussions, bringing a frontend perspective to cross-functional planning.
Founding Engineer, ML Systems
Training, evals, and productionization of SLMs.
- Own evaluations and training pipelines for specialized language models (SLMs), from data curation to deployment.
- Run and automate benchmarks like SWE-Bench, MMLU, IFEval, and others to measure model performance and guide improvements.
- Design and implement scalable, reproducible training and evaluation workflows using modern ML tooling (e.g., PyTorch, JAX, Weights & Biases, Ray, HuggingFace).
- Investigate and implement techniques for efficient fine-tuning, distillation, and continual learning.
- Stay up to date with the latest research in LLM/SLM evaluation, safety, and alignment, and bring best practices into our stack.
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmap discussions, bringing a ML perspective to cross-functional planning.
Founding Engineer, Backend
Backend architecture and systems.
- Architect and implement the core backend systems that power our platform.
- Design and build scalable, secure, and highly reliable services to support rapid product growth.
- Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and ML teams to deliver seamless, high-quality user experiences.
- Participate in the oncall rotation to ensure the reliability and uptime of backend services.
- Contribute to product strategy and roadmap discussions, bringing a backend perspective to cross-functional planning.
